Summertime and the Weeding's Not Easy....
It's near the end of July and the wonderful weather of May is a distant memory. Working outside now until Labour Day is usually tough as I continue to deal with high heat, extreme humidity and tall weeds! This post profiles a typical weeding job at this time of the season: trying to remove very mature weeds on a hot and sunny day.

A saving grace with this cleanup is the small size of this typical Leslieville neighbourhood front yard. Still, it took about three hours to remove the weeds in the garden, in the interlocking paver path and along the driveway without spraying herbicides (commercial or homemade concoctions).
